The followers of Haitian Voodoo have various practices which are most obviously shown through liturgy's and festivals.
Liturgy: after a few days of preparation which includes setting up altars at the Hounfour, which is the Haitian voodoo temple, the Haitian voodoo service starts. the service begins with a series of prayers, songs and verses for the main spirits. As the songs are sung, participants believe that spirits come to visit their ceremony, by speaking and acting through individuals.

Saut d’eau voodoo festival: Every year in summer thousands of pilgrims from all over Haiti make a religious journey to the village of Ville Bonheur and the sacred Waters of Saut d’Eau waterfall to cleanse themselves. the voodooists dressed in only underwear perform a bathing and cleaning ritual under the waterfall and become possessed by the spirit of water.
